Beirut Art Center is a space for contemporary art and culture in Beirut, and a platform for gathering, developing, and transmitting ideas. Since opening in 2009, BAC has brought artists, practitioners, and publics together through exhibitions, performances, conversations, learning, experimentation, and exchange. It creates the conditions for artists and cultural practitioners to develop their work, for knowledge to circulate, and for local and international practices to meet. In a city shaped by constant change, BAC remains a place to gather, imagine, and build an open cultural infrastructure where art connects people, generates knowledge, and moves beyond the walls of the institution.
